Using a midfield playmaker adds dynamite to your team – get the ball to the playmaker and watch the goals go in!
Coaching Objectives
Getting the ball to your midfield playmaker is a great way to control games. This is a key role in any team it is the creative heart of you attacking flair. Receiving and passing through defences, linking play and switching the focus of attacks are all the attributes of a playmaker.

What the Players Do

Technique Tips
- Encourage midfielders to communicate and work together to create passing lanes and opportunities to penetrate the defense.
- Emphasize the importance of timing and movement off the ball to create space and exploit gaps in the defense.
- Stress the need for accuracy and speed in passing and shooting to capitalize on scoring opportunities.
