Players need good ball control, maintaining a good speed without losing pace of the ball whilst also looking up to notice the underlapping run.

The timing of the run and pass are key to the success of this drill. Look for players communicating when they are making the underlapping run.

Players are required to use technical skill when offloading the ball. Make sure they are precise and concentrating when passing the ball.
