Coaching Objectives

Passing

  • Body over ball
  • Lean back slightly
  • Strike with laces on slightly below mid-line of ball
  • Firm ankle extend kicking foot
  • Sweep through ball
  • Non kicking foot slightly behind the ball
  • Head steady over ball

Receiving

  • Scan for opponents position
  • Move into line with the ball
  • Body open to the play
  • Cushion ball slightly to the side but not too far
