Receiving skills is an important component in keeping possession, this drill will develop players ability to receive with an open body and play forward.

Coaching Objectives

In this drill players will need to work on their scanning skills in order to pass effectively and recognise where teammates are. Coaches should encourage players to receive with an open body and on the back foot to play forward.
