Develop ball protection, decision-making, and defensive pressing in a high-intensity 1v2 overload transition game.

Coaching Objectives

This drill focuses on improving a player’s ability to retain possession under pressure, make quick decisions, and escape tight spaces when outnumbered. It also develops defenders’ pressing, teamwork, and transition finishing. Players learn how to protect the ball, recognise space, and react instantly when possession changes, building resilience, composure, and tactical awareness in tight areas.
