Goalkeepers should be square to the ball, trunk bent slightly forward, knees are bent for mobility, balance on the balls of the feet with hands ready to make the save.

Full concentration until the danger has been cleared. Be aware of where the ball is and don't let it out of your sight. Quick footwork to move as much of your body behind the line of the ball as possible, then move towards the ball to gather it safely.
