This is a drill where we try to combine technical features like the control, the pass, the ball driving or the shot with more physical features related to speed and agility.
Coaching Objectives
- The drill should be done at a fast pace
- Passes are key to performing at a high pace making it easier to control the ball – play too fast and control is lost but too slow is not what would happen in a game
- Keep the hurdles low but you want to see both feet off the ground at the same time
- Use both feet and control with the inside and outside of the feet when dribbling
- Shoot with power and accuracy keeping balance.
