This drill is about creating overloads in attack and making the moments of dominance with overloads count in the attacking team's favour. Also includes quick reaction at transition for defending team as well as the attacking team.
The attacking team should look to create overloads either out wide on one of the wings for through the middle. Encourage them to drive into the space to create the depth that gives them more attacking threat. Movements of players without the ball is key to keeping possession and creating goal scoring chances. Movement when the cross or through ball come in are the vital elements of the coaching advice.
Without the ball the defending team must try to press hard and counter attack quickly when they win the ball. Lots of opportunities to exploit space with four goals.
