In this activity there is an attacking overload in favour of the attacking players who must use skill and technique to create goal scoring chances making good decisions when on the ball to create space for one of the attackers to exploit.

Coaching Objectives

  • Decision making – awareness of movement and position of defenders
  • Overloads – using the players in space to play forward and attack
  • Weight and direction of pass – important to play the ball where the attacker can get it to shield it from the defenders.

 

Drill Setup

  • 4 red 2 green Bibs
  • 60 x 40 y

What the Players Do
